2023 April 15th, four of us went to participated the 133rd Canton Fair held in Guangzhou, China. the China Import and Export Fair is launched in 1957 and held biannually, , also known as Canton Fair, is considered a major gauge of China’s foreign trade. This year’s fair resumed all on-site activities in Guangzhou, after being held largely online since 2020 due to COVID-19 prevention measures.
The exhibition area of the 133rd Canton Fair has reached a record-breaking 1.5 million square meters. There were nearly 35,000 offline exhibitors, and buyers from 226 countries and regions. A total of 70,000 exhibition booths were displayed for global and domestic buyers.
The Canton Fair was held in three phases for different products. The first phase of the event, which ran from April 15 to 19, for categories including household appliances, building materials and bathroom products, attracted 1.26 million visitors to participate in the offline exhibition.
The second phase ran from April 23 to 27, featuring exhibits of daily consumer goods, gifts, and home decoration, and attracted around 815,000 visitors. And the third phase saw products including textile and clothing, footwear, office, luggage, medicine and health care, and food on display from May 1 to 5.
Summarizing the 133rd Canton Fair, the export turnover surpassed $21.69 billion. The 133rd China Import and Export Fair concluded with better-than-expected traffic. As of May 4, the accumulated visitors that participated in the offline exhibition exceeded 2.84 million.
Our exhibits products lies in A hall , our company displayed our main products which are new type light ladder type perforated cable tray especially for Australia, traditional cable ladder, cable trunking,mesh cable tray etc. at two booths separately, successively there are a couple of customers from Australia, USA, Spanish to visit and show interested to our products, although we didn’t make any deals on site . a few deals were conducted after the fair. we got about 1million turnover from this fair and explored a few of new global clients. For this fair, our company made a comprehensive preparation in all sections. With our business developing and deep exploration in Australia ,we do believe or products will win more widely global markets with our perfect quality of products and service in the coming days. Generally ,it’s a pretty success fair since the close of on-site fair from 2020 resulted from global pandemic. Our company has continually participated the Canton Fair for almost ten years except the two years’ breaking in the year of 2020,2021. Really hope it’s a good starting of the comprehensive resume of global Import and Export Trades.
